This semester I’m taking 15462(course website) in Carnegie Mellon University. As what I heard from those alumni who took the class before, it is really intense. And the fact that I tell myself to work on the ETC project from 10 am to 6 pm leaves me evening time to solve CG problems. But I can feel my inner energy, that I’m learning new techs. I find it weird that I actually feel very happy even though I don’t have time to play games. Guess it’s the thrill that the fantastic CG world has brought to me. :D
Here are several screenshots of my first CG project.
Programming language: C++, OpenGL.
Input: An obj file(mesh). A computing method for heightmap.
Output: A static mesh with changing material and an animated heightmap.
